The Green Bay Packers on Tuesday placed cornerback Al Harris(notes) and safety Atari Bigby(notes) on the physically unable to perform list. Each will miss the team’s first six games.
Harris is recovering from the knee surgery late last season. Bigby had ankle nfl throwback jerseys
surgery during training camp.
Tramon Williams(notes) will start in Harris' place. Rookie Morgan Burnett(notes) is expected to fill in for Bigby.
"Defensively, we feel good about what we were able to put in Green Bay Packers jersey
and tailor to our players," coach Mike McCarthy told USA Today. "But I can't deny the fact we haven't played good defense in the preseason. We don't have the continuity we would probably like because a number of our starters have been out because of injuries.
